Sunlight Sorbet was created by myself in collaboration with fellow artists Sean Hodges and Luke Suddeth. We had been working on original songs together and proposed to the Playground Committee a concert of original music with an interactive audience experience. Once selected, I worked to gather musicians to join our team and collaborated with designers to create the aesthetic vision of the show. Thematically, we sought to emulate the feelings evoked by watching a sunset on a quiet beach. I structured the setlist to mirror the rise and recede of a wave crashing on the shore.
