Found Connections is a short film written, directed, and edited by myself. It is inspired by a popular Instagram page, @cmumissedconnections, where students submit anonymous posts to try and find people that they had a brief connection with on campus, but they didn't exchange information. The film is based on one particular post and is a creative retelling of what that connection might have looked like, and what could have happened if the connection had been "found" rather than "missed". Utilizing the beauty of Carnegie Mellon campus and employing the acting skills of CMU students, my goal with the film was to show that our college community is more interconnected than we realize.
